 I reviewed a book by Diva Sanjur titled, "HIspanic Foodways, Nutrition and Health", which described the cultural traditions of several Hispanic cultures,  how they change as they immigrate to the United States and practical methods to assess their health and diet.

Community Practicum (November '14 - March '15) at Shepherd's Clinic

 As part of the new diabetes management program at the Joy Wellness Center. 

                            Projects Included:

- Creation of a facility diet manual for single and combination diets

- Facilitation of 4 cooking demonstrations

- Outpatient weight loss, pre-diabetes and diabetes counseling
